Omi: You’ve roasted it beautifully. As expected of you, Zen-san.

Taichi: Is this much salt okay, Omi-kun?

Omi: Just a little more. If you stick to the recipe, it won’t be enough in the end.

Sakyo: What’re you cooking so early in the morning that you even got Zen-san involved?

Izumi: They’re offerings for Nachi-san.

Izumi: Zen-san is making sunny-side up French toast, and Taichi-kun is helping out with the handmade cheese & imitation cod snacks.

Sakyo: That so? I could bring some alcohol, in that case.

Izumi: … Should I bring some of the curry I made yesterday?

Sakyo: I’d say no.

Nachi’s mother: I’m certain Nachi will be happy as well.

Ryo: This younger guy had heard about “Wolf” from me, so he asked if he was our junior or something…

Ex-Wolf Member C: Ain’t it possible he’s just usin’ our team name by accident or somethin’?

Ex-Wolf Member A: That’s not that weird of a thing.

Ryo: That ain’t it. Apparently, he’s been saying he’s “Nachi” of “Wolf”.

Ex-Wolf Member B: --You gotta be kidding me. He’s mockin’ us! Even if it’s just some kinda childish prank, there’s just some things you can’t do!

Omi: Ryo, were you able to ask for any more details about this fake?

Ryo: Apparently, sometimes he fights alone, but sometimes he’s got buddies with him.

Ryo: They only thing common thing is that he says he’s a remnant of “Wolf” and then walks away…

Zen: I was a bit curious.

Omi: Sorry for involving you, but… That’d be a huge help.

Zen: It ain’t a problem. You said he was callin’ himself “his” name, didn’t you?

Omi: --Yeah.

Omi: Just what kinda person would be pretending to be Nachi? And for what reason…?

Zen: No clue. But if the kid’s spendin’ all his time gettin’ into stupid fights, he’s probably frustrated in some way.

Zen: …I get how kids like him feel, so I just wanted to say somethin’.

Omi: Thank you so much.

Zen: Some of Gentiana’s shows incorporate sword fights into them. An ex-punk with a strong fightin’ spirit can immediately become somethin’ useful.

Zen: The guy I just mentioned is proof of that. They could prolly inadvertently blend in with the remnants of “Wolf”.

Zen: It ain’t someone else’s problem, y’know.

Zen: --That reminds me, we recently got a formal practice space for show dancers.

Zen: I was havin’ the live-in dancers clear off tables in the hall and lay out mats for them to practice on, but…

Zen: It was too cramped to let them practice serious tumblin’ ‘n action. So we finally took the plunge ‘n built a place to practice with all the stuff we needed.

Omi: That’s quite a bold move.

Zen: We’ve been gettin’ plenty of customers. It’s thanks to that.

Zen: Just let me know if any of the newborn group wants to use it for action-specific rehearsals or somethin’.

Zen: I’ll lend it to you whenever it’s available. Tell your director about it.

Omi: Thank you so much.

Omi: (...It really is amazing how nice the first-gen people are. I guess it’s also his way of encouraging us about the New Fleur Award.)

Omi: (I’m also concerned about the fake Wolf thing, but… First and foremost, I’ve got to make sure “Picaresque Returns” is a success.)

ZEN: "Zen is outwardly vain, and very happy to talk about his own singing and acting, but underneath that he's extremely loyal and caring, to both MC a d their other RFA friends. He'a also very determined to make his own way in the acting world, and is rather insecure, having been told many times that he was ugly and was discouraged from persuing his dreams, eventually even having his brother turn on him for being "silly". From there he had a hard life, running away and doing a lot of things to survive, and has finally managed to find success in his acting."

Friends to Lovers Tournament: Round 1, Side A, Match 2

Submission 1:

(exploding) sorry if this is badly written i am walking rn . Mods know the series but A3 is about stage actors.

TasuTsumu are literally the friends to lovers ever. They're childhood friends, even. They did everything together. They've acted together since elementary school. but then (VINE BOOM) they both try out for a prestigious acting troupe called GODza... but only Tasuku makes it in (sad horn sounds) Tsumugi lost a ton of confidence after not making it and kinda ghosted Tasuku and ran away from his problems </3 he originally had given up, but missed the stage so he tried out again at the Mankai Company (troupe all of the characters are in). Of course, as fate has it, Tasuku had just left GODza after their... unsavory business tactics, but the troupe had blacklisted him from becoming an actor at any other high end troupes in the area, leaving him to go to the Mankai Company. And of course times 2, he and Tsumugi try out for the same troupe. Tasuku is less than pleased with seeing Tsumugi's face after he just disappeared before, and things between them are tense, especially when Tasuku gets fed up with Tsumugi's lack of confidence after he becomes the troupe's leader. But!! Fate wants them to get along (and be together) and Tsumugi finds this cursed doll that traps them in a time loop of the same day. They're stuck until they resolve their issues. Nothing like a good ol divine intervention to get two friends to lovers back together. tldr Tsumugi owns up to his insecurities to Tasuku and works to overcome it. In the process, while performing their play in an act off (if they end up in the competition i'll actually essay about it) Tsumugi feels that his acting is inferior once again and totally bombs a show. Tasuku finally works around his own regrets of not reaching out before when Tsumugi had "quit," telling him how much he loves and envies Tsumugi's acting, and apologizes to Tsumugi. Then boom they pull off an incredibly gay play about angels and become lovers (not canon but Trust me).

Submission 2:

absolute best friends in childhood who had a very impactful falling out, but managed to resolve things. nowadays they're in a theatre troupe together where their troupe is quite literally married.

Submission 3:

1. CHILDHOOD FRIENDS

2. Their introductory arc was literally a whole divorce-reunion arc. They divorced because Tsumugi failed an audition into the God Squad theatre troupe while Tasuku got in which was a blow to Tsumugi's confidence as an actor and he ran away and Tasuku was mad at him for that. It was literally so bad that the game had to break its slice-of-life genre to introduce a doll that traps people in a timeloop until they're able to make up, and they (and another guy who's kinda a cryptid) are the only ones aware that the day keeps repeating

3. After one of their shows, Tsumugi overhears some audience members criticising him and comparing him to Tasuku, which leads to him changing his acting style in the next show which completes bombs their show. Out of shame, Tsumugi runs away, and it takes Tasuku some hesitating before chasing after him and finally telling him how he REALLY feels -- that he was guilty for not being able to do anything to help Tsumugi when he failed that audition years ago and ran away, and that he admires Tsumugi's acting for what it is. The anime makes this scene even gayer by having them meet on a bridge in the snow and Tasuku holding an umbrella over Tsumugi's head as he pours his heart out to Tsumugi

4. Tsumugi regains his confidence after hearing that, and they finally FINALLY 100% reconcile

Zenyuki:

they start out strangers who despite their different statuses become friends, who then gradually develop feelings for each other as they continue to get to know each other better! despite being a prince, zen treats shirayuki like an equal, helping her out with her herbalist qualifying exams even staying up late in the greenhouse and getting his hands literally dirty with soil all to help her. shirayuki also treats zen like a friend and doesn't kowtow or walk on eggshells around him just bc he's a prince. they have so much mutual admiration and respect for each other, and they inspire each other to grow and chase their goals! i also really like that the story goes out of their way to show that they have lives outside of each other, that they both have separate goals, responsibilities, and duties but they come together to support each other in working towards them! also that neck kiss scene mmm i think about that a lot

Hakkaku-san’s Shinsengumi, another troupe wanted to do the same thing. We never settled on it in the end.

Don’t tell me, Hakkaku-san left behind a script?

Nope, I decided to write it myself this time.

You did, Yukio-san?

Syu

I don’t recall you writing a screenplay before.

He used to write a lot in highschool, he makes quick work when he’s excited. I had a chance to check it out, it’s mostly finished.

I have a general idea of what I wanted to do with the Shinsengumi story since I used to talk about it with Hakkaku-san back then.

We even considered the casting.

I wonder if Reiji accepted the story so eagerly just because Yukio’s the one writing it.

Yeah, all that talk about their favorites and what went down, the shinsengumi fanatics just yapped on and on.

Yup, everyone had someone they were pushing for.

Yuzo

Now that I’ve been cast as Shinpachi, I gotta kill it at my swordsmanship or else those guys who wanted to play him will kill me themselves.

Yukio

You haven’t done Shinsengumi until now?

Yuzo

No, I’ve done it once in a historical drama.

At that time, I was practicing to die by a sword fight with Shinpachi, but I never thought I’d be in the opposite position.

Yukio

The ruthless killing isn’t the only reason I entrusted Shinpachi to you, Yuzo. Nagakura Shinpachi was one of the most long-lived major Shinsengumi leaders, right?

In his later years, he left records that showed the truth about the Shinsengumi which gave people a more nuanced evaluation of them.

I’d say that quality overlaps with you, Yuzo.

Sakyo: Geez, you lot better settle down.

Zen: The others will be here after they’re done practicin’ too. … Yeah, speak of the devil.

Ryo: Omi-san! Y’all! Good work today!

Former Wolves: Good work today!!

Omi: Hey guys. Good work to you too, Keiku.

Keiku: Heya.

Izumi: Thank you for including me as well.

Banri: What’re you talkin’ about, Director-chan? No need to be so distant.

Omi: Exactly. Besides… There’s something I’d like you to hear as well.

Omi: Actually… We’ll be doing a side story for The Stranger. Meaning, of course, that I’ll be reprising my lead role as Wolf.

Omi: I’m sure you all are aware, but I’d like to properly tell the Autumn Troupe and the Director as well.

Omi: Of course, I’d like to perform The Stranger just like everyone else, but there’s actually another reason…

Omi: … It’s going to be the anniversary of Wolf’s formation soon.

Juza: …

Omi: I picked up acting in Nachi’s stead, and felt guilty about it at first.

Omi: Even though I was the lead, I couldn’t face the regrets of my past and caused trouble for everyone…

Omi: But still, I was able to remember what it was that made me strong, and chose to carry my past, Nachi included, with me forever.

Omi: That’s how I got to stand on stage as Wolf.

Omi: Neither Nachi nor the Wolf he created exist anymore. But they live on in a different shape, right here.

Omi: And I want to prove that by taking on the name Wolf again and standing on stage proudly.

Hey, SandcatM here. TY for responding. Quick question, where can I read Azuma’s 8th anniversary story? Also, I saw a post on youtube about A3! collaborating w/ “The Rose of Versailles” 2025 movie feat. Muku w/ Oscar (whose VA is Miyuki Sawashiro aka A3!’s Banri’s VA’s sister), Itaru w/ Count Fersen (whose VA is TWST’s Malleus; it’s funny that Malleus’s VA & Itaru’s VA, along with/ Tenma’s, Chikage’s, Tasuku’s, Kabuto’s & OG Zen’s, are in the Ikemen’s Prince game), & Homare w/ Andre where both of them have the same VA. Also, the other A3! VAs in The Rose of Versailles movie are Tenma’s, Juza’s, & Hisoka’s.

Change of pace in TWST, everyone had a hard time waking up Riddle, but at least Ace got his unique magic called “Joker Snatch” which I had to look up & found out the term is actually a magic trick. Unfortunately, after Riddle woke up, he had to be transported to Idia’s room & face Malleus so that Idia can finish setting up for the last boss battle. Unrelated, Ace getting his unique magic makes me want to listen to “Trickster” by FIVE NEW OLD & the final section scene makes me want to listen to the Kimetsu no Yaiba opening “Gurenge” by LiSA to at least hype up for the battle.
